You Are Closer Than You Think

There are moments in life when we look around and wonder: “How did I get here?

Not because things are bad .But because something still feels… unfinished.
Maybe you’ve made bold moves. Maybe you’ve healed from what tried to break you.
Maybe you’ve held on when everything told you to quit. And yet — somehow — there’s this quiet question inside: “Is this it?”
Let me tell you something I’ve learned over and over: Just because you don’t see it clearly, doesn’t mean you’re far. You might be closer than you ever imagined.
Closer to the peace you crave. Closer to the alignment you’ve been seeking. Closer to the kind of decision that brings you back to yourself.

But here’s the thing:
It’s easy to forget how far you’ve comewhen you’re too focused on where you think you “should” be.
Too often, we compare ourselves to timelines, expectations, or other people’s journeys — and we miss the most important part:
Your story is only yours. No one else has walked through what you have. No one else has seen the world through your eyes. No one else can define what “next” looks like for you.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve shared some pieces of my story with you — how some of the most defining moments in my life didn’t come with loud drama (not in my perception — because chose to see things through a softer lens. But for someone else, it could have felt like the end of the world), but with quiet shifts.
If you haven’t read them yet, I invite you to:

A Face in Transformation
Each one was a reminder — to you and to me — that transformation doesn’t always announce itself.
Sometimes, it whispers. Sometimes, it shows up in the mirror. Sometimes, it comes in the form of a
question:
“What do I want to do with what I’ve lived so far? And how can it help me build the life I truly want?”

And maybe today… your answer is:
“I want to use it. I want to honor it. I want to keep going.”
That’s not a small decision. That’s power.
So take a breath. Acknowledge your path. And ask yourself:
If I’m already this close… what’s the next step I can take today?
Big or small, visible or invisible — the step that brings you more peace, more presence, and more coherence… is always the right one.
And if you ever feel like walking this path with me — through a class, a treatment, or simply a shared moment of reflection — you already know where to find me.
I’ll be here.
With presence and deep respect,
Priscila Iwama
